Ayurvedic Facial

Herbal facial with classical formulations — clear, glowing skin the Ayurvedic way.

✓ Prescribed by Dr. Gaurav Sharma after your diagnosis

Ayurvedic Facial therapy at Adinath Ayurveda Hospital

What is Ayurvedic Facial?

The Ayurvedic Facial is a classical herbal facial — not a salon facial. Instead of chemical creams and machines, it uses herbal pastes, medicated oils and gentle massage, chosen for your skin type after the doctor examines you.

The session cleanses the skin, then a herbal paste is massaged in, followed by a herbal mask and herbal toning. The massage improves blood flow to the face, the herbs draw out impurities, and the mask lets the skin absorb the goodness. The result is skin that looks clearer and healthier — not just covered up.

Ayurveda treats skin from the inside too. Pigmentation and acne marks are often linked to excess Pitta (heat) and weak digestion, while dryness and dullness point to Vata. That is why the doctor also looks at your digestion and dosha, not only your face.

Why Ayurvedic Facial?

Most facials work only on the surface. The Ayurvedic Facial works on the skin and on the cause behind the skin problem.

100% herbal, no chemicals
Every preparation is herbal — no bleaches, no harsh peels, nothing that strips the skin.
Chosen for your skin type
Dry, oily, sensitive or pigmented skin each gets a different formulation, decided by the doctor.
Works on the cause
Because pigmentation and acne marks often come from digestion and dosha imbalance, the doctor treats those too — not just the marks.
Relaxes facial muscles
The gentle massage releases the tension we hold in the jaw, forehead and around the eyes — and a relaxed face looks younger.
Gentle enough for sensitive skin
Formulations are mild and tested for your skin, so even reactive skin can take it.

Are you facing any of these issues?

If any of these sound like you, this therapy was made for your problem.

Dull, tired-looking skin
Pigmentation and dark spots
Acne marks
Uneven skin tone
Dry or flaky patches
A face that looks stressed and lifeless

If your skin looks tired no matter how much you sleep or what cream you use, the cause is usually deeper than the surface.

Who needs Ayurvedic Facial?

The Ayurvedic Facial suits anyone who wants healthier skin without chemicals — and especially people whose skin problems keep coming back after creams and salon treatments.

Pigmentation and heat-related marks are usually Pitta; oiliness is usually Kapha; dryness is usually Vata. The doctor identifies yours and chooses the formulation.

What's involved in a Ayurvedic Facial session?

A typical session lasts 30–45 minutes.

1

Consultation first. The doctor examines your skin, asks about digestion and habits, and decides which herbal formulation suits your skin type.

2

Herbal cleansing. The skin is cleansed with gentle herbal preparations that remove dirt and oil without drying the skin.

3

Herbal paste with gentle massage. A herbal paste is applied with slow, gentle massage strokes that improve blood flow and help the herbs absorb.

4

Mask. A herbal mask is left on for the prescribed time so the skin can absorb the formulation.

5

Removal and herbal toning. The mask is removed gently and the skin is toned with a herbal preparation to finish.

6

Aftercare advice. The therapist tells you what to avoid for the rest of the day — usually sun, makeup and harsh soaps.

For the rest of the day, avoid direct sun, makeup and harsh face washes. Let the herbs keep working.

How do Adinath experts perform Ayurvedic Facial?

At Adinath, the facial is prescribed by Dr. Gaurav Sharma after he examines your skin and checks your digestion and dosha. The formulation is mixed for your skin — there is no single ready-made cream for everyone.

Our therapists are trained in the classical application and in gentle massage strokes. When pigmentation runs deep, the doctor may combine the facial with internal medicines and diet guidance, because surface treatment alone cannot fix a deep problem.

Benefits of Ayurvedic Facial

Clearer skin
Herbal cleansing and paste draw out impurities, so the skin looks clearer and fresher.
Natural glow
Better blood flow and nourished skin bring back a healthy glow that makeup cannot fake.
Even skin tone
Regular sessions help fade marks and even out the tone, when combined with the doctor's internal plan.
Less pigmentation
Herbs chosen for pigmentation help lighten dark patches gradually, without bleaching.
Deep relaxation
The slow massage releases facial tension — many people feel the stress leave their face.
Softer skin
Herbal oils and pastes nourish dry, flaky skin so it feels soft and supple.
Healthier skin over time
Because the cause is treated too, the improvement lasts longer than a one-day salon glow.

Is it safe? Does it hurt?

The facial is 100% herbal and gentle. Products are chosen for your skin type by the doctor, and a small patch test is done first if your skin is sensitive.

Tell the doctor about allergies, active acne wounds, recent chemical treatments or peels, and any skin medicines you use — the formulation is adjusted accordingly.

Questions patients ask

What is the Ayurvedic Facial for?

It is a classical herbal facial for dull skin, pigmentation, acne marks and uneven tone. It cleanses, nourishes and relaxes the face with herbal preparations, and the doctor also treats the internal cause.

How long is one session?

About 30–45 minutes.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your skin problem. A dull face may brighten in a session or two; pigmentation needs a course decided by the doctor after examining you.

Is it painful?

No. It is a gentle, relaxing therapy — cleansing, massage, mask and toning, all done with a light hand.

Is it safe? Who should avoid it?

It is safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin. Tell the doctor about allergies, active wounds, recent peels or skin medicines so the formulation can be adjusted.

What do I do after a session?

Avoid direct sun, makeup and harsh face washes for the rest of the day. Follow the aftercare the therapist gives you.

Can I do it at home?

You can follow a simple herbal routine at home, but the classical facial — the right formulation, paste and technique — needs the clinic's preparations.

What should I wear and eat?

Wear comfortable clothes and come with a clean face if you can. Eat light before the session; there is no special diet, but the doctor may advise one for pigmentation.

Will it suit sensitive skin?

Yes — formulations are chosen for your skin type, and a patch test is done first if your skin reacts easily.
